About

I'm Justin, a writer and musician who works a day job in technology consulting for nonprofits. I am also a father and husband, guitar pedal builder, and gardener.I studied Sociology at college in the early aughts, having given up on an English degree after failing Satire class due to non-attendance, and have had an on and off again relationship with writing since. Before college, I was the Features Editor of my high school’s newspaper, but I couldn’t stomach the hours of a real deal journalism career. I contributed to my college paper occasionally, and tried my hand at starting my own blog a time or two shortly after. I've contributed to various print and online outlets and submitted short fiction to dozens of journals and magazines over the years since.I live east of Atlanta with my family, chickens, and dog Frankie, who is a good girl.
